Bali has once again reaffirmed its position as the world’s best travel destination by securing the top spot in the “Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best Destination List 2026” by TripAdvisor.
In this list, Bali outshined major cities and popular tourist destinations such as London (United Kingdom), Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Hanoi (Vietnam), Paris (France), and Rome (Italy).
Bali won the title of travelers’ top choice thanks to its natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and increasingly competitive tourism services at the international level.
Minister of Tourism Widiyanti Putri Wardhana personally received the award at ITB Berlin 2026, one of the largest and most influential B2B tourism exhibitions globally.

Thus, the winners are determined directly by platform users—real travelers from across the globe who share their experiences and stories. Out of millions of listings available on TripAdvisor, less than 1% manage to achieve this prestigious recognition.
