Spousal Visa (Index Code E31A)

•••••

If you are married to an Indonesian citizen, you qualify to apply for a spousal visa with a one-year validity. After two years of marriage, you may have the opportunity to convert this visa into a Permanent Stay Permit.

Spousal Visa helps foreign nationals married to Indonesian citizens obtain legal residency in Indonesia. Whether you’re planning to live with your spouse or extend your stay, we can streamline the formalities. To be eligible for a spousal visa, there are a few key requirements that must be met:

  • Foreign applicant must be legally married to an Indonesian citizen, and the marriage must be recognized under Indonesian law.
  • Marriage certificate must be officially recognized by Indonesian authorities. Additionally, it should be endorsed by the foreign spouse’s embassy to ensure its validity.
  • The foreign spouse should intend to live in Indonesia, as the visa is designed for those planning to reside with their Indonesian partner.
