Bali has always been the mainstay of Indonesia’s tourism industry. Who would have thought, the influx of foreign tourists there also reveals other potentials of the Island of the Gods? Many of them are captivated by the charm of Bali, deciding to rent or even buy their own property so they can stay there longer. Eventually, it’s not only Bali’s tourism that has successfully recovered post-pandemic, but also its property business.

Unfortunately, financing access in the real estate sector is still very limited, especially for foreign nationals who deal with many regulations in terms of property ownership in Indonesia. To address this issue, Seven Stones Indonesia has partnered with Briix Financial Technology from Australia. The fintech platform has been approved by Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan/OJK). Recently they joined hands for a collaboration, offering a mortgage financing scheme and property transaction services in the Bali area.

Briix provides streamlined and transparent financing options for mortgages and to enhance property development projects. The former is suited for individuals seeking to fund their property purchase or to refinance their current operational assets. While the latter is designed specifically for the development, renovation, or expansion of non-operational assets. This financing option caters to businesses undertaking new construction or major upgrade projects.

Meanwhile, as an experienced real estate agency, Seven Stones Indonesia provides a range of high-quality property listings in Bali that extends to guidance on optimal villa purchase locations and recommended business models for leasing.

This innovative joint venture opens new opportunities for foreigners and expatriates to develop their real estate dreams in Bali. The combination between Briix’s expertise in the fintech industry with Seven Stones Indonesia’s experiences of the regional real estate market aim to provide a tailored solution to property financing issues.

This marks a significant milestone. For the first time ever, foreign nationals will now have access to the mortgage facility that will open new doors and possibilities for international involvement in the Indonesian real estate market, as well as enhancing the potential of Bali’s real estate market and contributing to the island’s continued growth and prosperity.

Interested in learning about this new opportunity? Please don’t hesitate to contact our team at Seven Stones Indonesia and share your thoughts about how you envision your real-estate idea in Bali.
